Chicago Blackhawks announce they are not re-signing Crawford. Another goalie hits the market.

Not sure if this constitutes a bold prediction... but my prediction is that Simmonds signs with the Flyers for between 2-2.5 Millions.
He has made it known that the Wisdom kid that the Flyers just drafted is a kid he he supports... so what better way to support him that to be at the same training camp!

This is going to be a fun weekend. So many big names available, so many trade rumours. With the buyouts and non qualified players too, there's a pool of interesting names for sure. Does the lack of cap space screw the whole thing up? Maybe - it could also drag things out a lot longer than the 6 hour free agency shows that go tomorrow. But you just know something big will probably happen tomorrow that comes out of left field.
