Players going to defer some of their pay instead of prorated salary for a shortened season

I read somewhere that ticketmaster has something in the works (or already do) that requires you to show proof of a valid negative covid test in order to purchase/attend events

I've heard that Johnson & Johnson (I believe is the company - not 100% sure) is working on a 'lick test' - you literally lick a stick with a tab and it gives you +99% accurate Covid +/- results in 1 min.

so that would give them 4 months of regular season , 2 months for playoffs before the good ol olympic deadline .

if everyone plays aprox 3 games a week with a few 4 game weeks thats aprox 42 gp season

NBA was just putting out 1/2 of their season schedule - not a bad idea for NHL. Then, if the virus cases are less, it could be opened up by mid-March (maybe).

I think I would watch more Canadian Conference games than anything especially the Eastern time zone early start games. Leafs and Canuck games are high on my list of games to watch.
