Hello everyone, I am looking to move salary, Full

Depends how tight the cap is in your league, what else you could do instead with RyJo, what else you could do with the $2.5M, what the cost of a buyout/drop is, etc. We have no idea without all this context,

So, everyone over 5 million cannot be cut, and we only have 1 buyout per year to cut a guy like Kessel or Zucc for a example on my team. I am trying to clear out that 2.5 million because as it stands now, I am over the cap and need to make room for Cirelli’s extension. This is purely what the trade offer that I got was for. So that I can eat Nick Foligno’s contract for 1 year, and save some long term money and near future money in the process.

The Cap in our league is 96 million so I would be over by 6-7 million right now. After I use my buyout on Zucc or Schneider, I need to clear minimum 5-6 more millions to fit Cirelli in.

What is your cutoff date for being under the cap? I'd hold off a bit. I don't like this move a ton and your C position is already not superb.

How tight is every other team to the cap? Are the deals likely to get better or worse as you get closer to the deadline?

2-3 other teams are up against it, with the rest having 8-10 million in cap to work with. Some of the teams are willing to take a Zucc or Kessel off my hands but want Werenski involved which sucks because he is one of my only defensemen and he’s a good player.

I’m not sure really about if the deals will get better to be honest, I’m just looking for any way to clear some cap

Pass. See if he's interested in a counter including Lindell. He's the guy I'd hope has value that is overpriced that I'd aim to move.

Don't get rid of Werenski unless it's a real barn burner.
