hmm...that is an interesting offer.
I feel the players have similar value so it comes down to positional needs, and I think you are a little deeper at center, so I'd probably stick with Chychrun.
I've been offered Hischier for Chychrun straight-up in an all-cats dynasty league. Current d-core depth is Provorov, Pionk, Trouba, Chychrun, Graves, Toews with Jake Bean and Nic Hague on the way, while my C depth is Eichel, Barzal, Dach, some average pieces then Cody Glass on the way.

I mean, on the surface it's a no brainer to take Hischier to me, but it kind of seems to be a weird offer so I'm wondering if there are some more details that make the Chychrun side a little more attractive?
How many teams, list the exact scoring categories (there are A LOT of scoring categories actually available in some leagues), list the roster positional breakdown, doesn't look like any scoring bonus for D.
I’m a huge Chych fan and I would not make this move. Even with OEL there he was making his time count and if OEL is gone it’s only to improve. Yes it’s the Yotes but I’m still looking forward to his progression. I can’t say the same for Hischier.

wow i thought this would be overwhelming in favor of Hischier but as Chychrun owner im glad its not...i do think he is about to take off...specially of OEL gets moved. But i also have lots of time for Hischier and i think he is just coming into his own.

Both players are the same age and haven't reached their potential yet.
Hischier right now is a 50 pt forward, with upside to score 70 in his prime.
Chychrun right now is a 35 pt dman, with upside for 55 in his prime.
To me, they have the same value based on their positions.
As I said, I'd stick with Chychrun but can't fault anyone for going with Hischier. I don't see much to choose between them.

Thanks ya'll. I think I'll stick with Chychrun. Probably harder to build a strong d-core in end.
Personally I'd rather have Hischier. I like Chychrun but his inability to stay healthy is a worry spot for me.

I'd take Hischier 10 times / 10. He's primed for the 4th year breakout on a (hopefully) improving team. Plus I'm a sucker for draft capital

Not nearly enough info. Yes they are close but... How many C slots? How many D slots? Roto or H2H? Max games limits? I can't really give you a good answer without more.

I would take Hischier if this is even still under consideration for you. Hischier could take off soon. So could Chychrun, but this seems to be tied to the idea of OEL getting traded which is far from certain. The team just changed GMs and reports (I think Seravalli?) suggest the new guy is not nearly as interested in shedding salary that way - Stepan or Kuemper sound more likely.

Still need to know how many you start at each position.
If it's 20F vs 4D, then the forwards have more value.
If it's 10F vs 8D, then the D have more value.
If it's a 2 or 2.5F:1D ratio, positions are relatively equal.
If there are C/LW/RW slots, C lose a bit of value without FOW as a category as there are lots of quality Cs. If it's only FW slots, they don't lose value.
The more details you provide, the better chance of understanding relative value in your league, especially when the players are considered so close in talent as can be seen by the number of people on each side of this deal.
Hischier for me.
Same age - I prefer the higher end break out potential of Hischier - and yes, I'm considering position.
