    Default Worth it for Svech?

    12 team, H2H categories, full dynasty. G, A, P, PIM, PPG, PPP, SOG, H, B, Takeaways, W, SV%, GAA, Svs

    26 player roster, 10 player farm (increasing to 15 this year). 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 6D, 2G, 2SKT, 7 BENCH, 5IR+

I went for it last year, leaving me with not so great picks in this upcoming draft and only two 4ths in next year's (both 5 round drafts).

I've been offered Gaudreau, a 1st and 3rd next year, and one of Barrett Hayton or Jason Robertson for my Svechnikov.

My initial thoughts were that it didn't excite me enough. I think Svech is going to be something special and Gaudreau does absolutely nothing for you if he isn't putting up points (like this past year). Hayton is stuck in Arizona and they won't be improving for at least a few years. Robertson seems similar to Gaudreau in that he seems pretty weak in our setup.

So it seems like it's Svech for Gaudreau and then some assets I can use this year to make another push as I wouldn't be holding on to the picks or prospect, just trying to flip them as none of that helps me this year and I'm in win-now mode.

Is this worth it for Svech? He's great in our setup and only going to get better.

    Thanks in advance.

When I’m not sure, I take the side with the best player. Also it’s only 12 teams, easier to get good players. Svech is not good, but great...

    Svech side for me...
    1) 16 teams full keeper H2H. Start 9F, 4D, 1G, 2 Championships
    pts: (D : 7 pts G /5 pts A), (F : 5pts G /3 pts A), (G : 10 pts W / 5 pts SO), (D/F : 1 pt +/-, 0.5 pts PIM, 0.1 FOW, 0.2 Hits, 0.3 pts SOG, PP and SH).

Forward : Aho, Svechnikov, PLDubois, Giroux, Couture, Wheeler, Cozens, Karlsson, Vrana, Anderson,Greenway,

Defenses : Dahlin, Fox, Doughty, Toews, , Slavin, Miller

    Goalies : Oettinger, Vanecek, Bobrovsky

Prospects : Dostal, Schmid, Chinakhov, Bordeleau, Ostlund, Brindley, Gulyayev

I'm guessing that by Full Dynasty you mean full keeper right? And if you went for it your team should be decently stacked I would think. I'd go for it again and keep the player who is most likely to help you do that, Svech.

That's why I was looking for advice: I don't have much to trade to improve this year. But clearly I agree Svech will be huge as I came here instead of pulling the trigger right away and was leaning towards turning it down. Thanks!

Gaudreau is a great player in points-only formats, but in this format even if he scores 85 pts, Svechnikov is more valuable. Easy decision to keep the player you have.

Not even remotely close. Keep Svechnikov in this format.

    Agree to keep Svechnikov here.

Gaudreau is an avoid if things other than scoring count.

I agree that in a points only format this would be a closer trade but in this format, it's an easy pass for me. Keep Svechnikov.

Never made it that far. But it is next year, not this upcoming draft.
