IE - 23 Philadelphia Flyers draft Carter Harter, because the Flyers need a goalie and this kid is the real deal.

3- We are going to try and keep this draft as close to the real draft as possible. So if there are picks that are traded we will make the trades and make it work. If a pick involved in a trade has already been made, we will leave that pick as is and make a note that it was traded after the fact.

Example - If we are in the draft process at pick number 14 and the Devils trade their 18th pick and a 3rd rounder for pick number 11. Then we will leave pick number 11 and make the change at Pick 18 to the Predators. I know its not perfect... but its the best that I could come up with.

With the 6th pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, the Anaheim Ducks are thrilled to select, from the Erie Otters of the OHL,

Why? Other than Cam Fowler, does anyone know any other defencemen in their organization??? (not serious...but you get the point)

At #7 the New Jersey Devils are thrilled to select, from Frölunda of the Swedish Hockey League, Lucas Raymond.

I always intended New Jersey to select a forward at #7, even if Drysdale was was still available. The Devils need help at every position and given that next year's draft will be defense-heavy, and they will likely have another top 10 pick, they can get their stud d-man next year.

I seriously considered Rossi in this position, and have seen a few mocks where the Devils take him. I think that Raymond is BPA at #7 and he better complements the Devils' two excellent young centers.

First of all, the Buffalo Sabres, since we've let go our entire scouting department, would like to thank TornBetween2Pucks for making this pick for us.

The Buffalo Sabres are pleased to select - C Marco Rossi. We can't believe he fell to us. He can apprentice under Eric Staal for a year and then can take over the #2 centre position behind Eichel. He's defensively responsible and NHL ready, and his 5'9" frame holds a very solid body.

With the 9th pick in the 2020 NHL entry draft, the Minnesota Wild are pleased to select Anton Lundell (C), HIFK (Liiga).

It was close between Holtz and Lundell but as I have them ranked so close I went with team need. And boy o boy, do The Wild need a C

David Poile accidentally spills water all over his computer because he's so excited. The technical difficulties mean the pick was slightly delayed, but the Preds take Alexander Holtz nonetheless.
Really I think they should be taking whoever is left from the top 11 group selected here, and it may well be Holtz.

The Panthers don't have a glaring need, and if they do it's on defence. However that's not a hole they can fill immediately with this pick, so they go for BPA with Seth Jarvis who they hope can be an all-around stud and compliment their duo or Hubs and Barkov

12th overall, the Hurricanes are happy to select the best goal scorer of the 2020 Draft, drawing comparisons to David Pastrnak....

In my opinion, I don't expect the Oilers to actually make this pick. I think they trade down a bit in this deep draft and recoup some of the picks they dealt away in previous deals. They dealt their 2nd round pick in the Athanasiou trade. They could give up their 3rd in the Lucic deal and they moved their 4th for Mike Green, which didnt work out so well either.

For the purpose of this, if the Oilers were to actually make this pick, I think they'd go with Dylan Holloway. Not who'd I'd personally go with from the guys remaining, but I do think the Oilers like this kid a lot.
