So we were originally going to go with 10 but interest in hockey pooling seems to have dried up and weve got 7 great owners ready to draft- lol!

Here are a few key notes about this fantastic league with active ownership!!

- Great categories! 1 point is available for G A P PPP Sog and FOW while half a point each week is up for grabs for Hits blocks and pims. Goalies have 1 point available for W, Saves, and GAA while they can get one more for SO's. Its hth but points carry over each week so a blowout is worth more than a narrow victory.

- Interesting 3 team farm system! Youve got a 20 man farm system. Pro roster of 28 skaters- 4RW, 4LW, 4C, 6D, 2G and an 8 man bench. You get 20 adds a year from your farm with limited waiver adds. Players 4 million or under can be demoted freely but contracts larger than that must clear waivers. You also have 5 draft picks for the NHL entry draft each year to comprise your junior team. Junior team guys can stay on your junior roster for 3 years or until you promote them.

- Neat waiver draft! There are no waiver moves for the first six weeks at which point we do an optional 3 round draft from the waiver wire. Any picks you dont use carry over as extra waiver picks. You start with 8 and use 5 in the draft so you have anywhere from 5-8 picks each year.

- Cool theme! Everyone picks a family name from game of thrones for their team!

- Illuminating articles about the leafue and teams! Ill be doing 3 articles about the eague each year- around the waiver draft, the nhl entry draft and the trade deadline and will include blurbs about every team.
