    Default Acquiring Mark Stone...maybe

    10 teams limited multicat keeper:
    G, A, P, PPP, SOG, FOW, Hits & Blocks

I can possibly acquire Mark Stone for a 2nd round pick. While he's never been a big shooter, I like his P/G and deployment. He's 28 years old. I'm not contending next season so I'm looking to upgrade a keeper like Giroux or Wheeler.

    Thoughts??

With FOW I like Giroux and Wheeler better actually than Stone, so I'd pass for now. Also how many teams? Mark Stone is someone I would think you'd be able to draft with that 2nd round pick anyways without using one of your keeper slots too.

    10 teams.
Yeah, I'm also thinking he's not much of an upgrade.

Nice player, but I'd rather take a shot on getting a keeper upgrade out of your second rounder, rather a possible marginal upgrade from Stone.

    Roster size is 25 players...keep 10.
so its keep 100 players league...your last 2 choices from what i gather are Wheeler and Giroux in the multicat league where they both thrive and you not competing next year? what am i missing? are you short on picks?

i would keep my 2nd ...try to draft someone you will try to flip for next years picks if you truly wont content.

Precisely! I'm short on high-end picks. I'll likely use this season to upgrade some keepers and stockpile picks for '21/'22.

Keep the pick and depending on players you have at deadline try to flip some for picks next year as i said.
