Was also just offered the following for Nylander;
R. Thomas
P. Tomasino
J. Kyrou
3 nice pieces, and I am quite high on Thomas, I don't think he takes that necessary step in production, enough to make me consider this move.
I'm trying to make moves that won't hurt my team now, and put me ahead in the seasons to come.
W. Nylander $5.55
V. Olofsson $3.30
D. Nurse $4.40
22nd Overall - Junior only draft
Trading for:
M. Necas $4.25
A. Tuch $3.65
8th Overall - Junior only draft

no to either. Option 1, I like Necas and Tuch but they are both buried on deep teams and that limits their production IMO. Second option I never trade prove for potential.
if the 2nd option is just fo Nylander and you need cap space i woudl do that....but if u got cap space Nylander will be most productive of the 4 for at least next year probably next 3
i dont like the first one that much
Just to give you comparison i traded Tomasino + Bemstrom for Nylander last year and im in full rebuild..he is still very young...my league however does not count cap...
Thomas is on ELC one more year which is great for cap leagus...kyrou should play full time on ELC as well...i think Tomasino is year away from being even given a chance in Nash.

Not really a fan of either. I like Tuch, but not at that cost.

Do not like the 2nd option.
The first option is ok. A good starting point to work a deal if that is what you want and/or need. I think to get that deal the other side needs to put in another draft pick and a good prospect at a min.
Looking at option one - looks like you are in an auction league.
This deal gives you an extra $5 for your auction. Is there players going to be available to bid on that can get you points to replace Nylander?
If there is I would look at doing deal. You get the 8th overall pick in the draft - which should be a blue chip prospect and you have money to replace Nylander.
Would actually use this strategy in the Thomas offer too - how much you saving?
Do prospects have to be protected in the 15 players?
You need to analyze what top players will be available in your draft - to determine if trading will benefit you.
Do some cost benefit analysis of each move, it is not only player for player.

Unless you have cap issues and you need to move out some money, I do not like either deal.
