Any interest in some sort of Seattle Expansion Draft exercise?

For some reason, I am really into expansion drafts in pro sports.

As you may know, Cap Friendly has an expansion draft simulator, which can be found here: https://www.capfriendly.com/expansion-draft/seattle

I'm wondering if there's any interest in putting together a "league" where we'd get a number of forum posters to handle a team or more, if needed to:

1. Put together protection lists for the team(s) they have been assigned.
2. After everyone's list is in, we would set up the protection lists, and have everyone involved pick their version of the Seattle Kraken.

If this is already being planned by anyone, please let me know.

If interested, please post a reply, and if we can get to at least 10 people for the 30 franchises that need protection lists, maybe we can make something like happen. 30 would be ideal, but 10 would mean no more than 3 teams each, which might be doable. Vegas Golden Knights are exempt.

The plan is to do it on Cap Friendly, or Plan My Team, if they get Seartle up & running. That way, their engine knows the rules. Everyone saves the protection lists for their assigned teams, and then we make one big master list, and people use that to pick the Kraken.

I figured once we got enough people, we could get the team assignments organized. I'd bet people will want to do their favorite teams, but we will want to make sure everybody gets at least one team they like.

I've done enough mock drafts being teams I hate or am clueless about because my favorite teams are reserved for more vocal people.

I won't be able to get this organized until next month, due to an older friend having to vacate his apartment by the end of September. He is Europe and can't get back to do it himself, so this is ugly.
