Keeping Jones or Fox
So my dilemma in my Keeper league is I have a trade offer for Seth Jones for my 4th round pick and presently have Adam Fox on my roster and I'm keeping Dahlin as one of my 8 and want another keeper Dman. I have the #1 pick which I intend to use on Lafreniere, I also have the #3 and I'm keeping Shesterkin which would give me 3 Rangers if I kept Fox. Do I take the trade for Jones and let Fox go/trade him? I feel like if Tony DeAngelo gets dealt Fox could be in for a huge year.
Stats in my league are goals, assists, hits, shots, +/-, pp points, sh points.

Could you then flip Fox for something? Could you bump the pick back a couple more rounds from a 4th?
If both of those are no, then hold what you have.

I'd keep Fox and the pick. Not sure the separation between Fox and Jones will be much...if any.

I prefer Jones to Fox so if you can get Jones and recoup what you lost for Jones by dealing Fox, I'd be doing that.

I'm shocked people are suggesting that you keep Fox over Jones. I mean, isn't Jones a monster in this format? Not only does he put up points (we can only hope that Fox can score as many points as Jones, even if DeAngelo is gone), but Jones also puts up around 100 hits and 200 shots. I just don't see Fox coming even close to those numbers.
If this were me, I'd grab Jones and deal Fox for some sort of modest return. Maybe wait until DeAngelo is gone to get full value for Fox.

I prefer Jones here, and would see if Fox can bring you some sort of return, the guy might even want Fox and a much later pick. Fox's situation is murkier and his multi-cat prowess is more questionable.

Jones all day, why ponder when you have a guaranteed acquisition waiting. Fox will also have to deal with Lundkvist sooner rather than later and he does not have Nils one timer ability.

If I had the choice between the two, I’m taking Jones. Having said that, I think Fox is the hot name right now. I would keep Jones and try to trade Fox to someone who’s willing to trade for his upside.

As a Fox owner, I want him to be just as good as Jones. I take Jones

Trade Fox and keep Jones. Jones is a significantly better player than Fox in all leagues.

Jones >>> Fox. I agree with a lot of the above sentiment, Fox is simply the hot name right now but will never be as good a hockey player as Seth Jones.

Jones is what Fox aspires to be someday. But Fox is a shiny new toy right now in some leagues, so someone will give you value for him. Keep Jones.
