On my league there is a lot of value for PKTOI. I'm looking for a dman around 22 to 27 y/o that's going to have his first opportunity to play a lot on PK. Do you guys can think of anynames?
31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...

Well... the theory is that players will move around during the FA shuffling.
With some players coming into new roles and some players moving out to new or same roles.

So... what you are looking for is a team where a key PK defenseman may not be returning.
Go to NHL.com, chck Time on Ice, sort by SH TOI.

#2 Chris Tanev (VAN) is UFA.
#5 Zdeno Chara (BOS) may retire.
#10 Ron Hainsey (OTT) is UFA.
    etc.

You will also come across young D like #11 Jonas Siegenthaler (WAS) and think about HOW they care into increased PK roles.
Like... that one possibly had to do with Matt Niskanen being traded to PHI.
Or #16 Ryan Graves with COL came into big PK time.

You can also look to what's happening in playoffs.

Example: Zach Whitecloud (VGK) is killing a lot of penalties.
    As is Adam Pelech (NYI).

Oscar Fantenberg -age 28- was the #3 PK D-man for VAN... so if they don't re-sign Tanev... it may be him & Edler killing.

One team you can look towards is NJ.
Andy Greene has left, he was their main PK D-man.
Now they are young... so Mirco Mueller (age 25) or Dakota Mermis (age 26) may be doing that.

Each team has 4D they'll use for PK.
A base pairing... if they are fresh.

You need to build that for all 31 teams.
Then move around the pieces in FA.
And see who is moving from a 2nd pairing PK unit, to a 1st pairing PK unit.

Right now... Zach Whitecloud looks to be carving himself out a nice role as a future PK1 pairing D-man for VGK.
