Who should I keep

Hi all,

I am new on this forum, but I have been reading it for years, the opinions are very interesting! I am in a dynasty league, 10 teams, 12 keepers/team, including 1 goalie, 7 or 8 forwards and 4 or 3 defs. Points only, bonus for HT, PPG, SHG and for a shootout. Players under 20 don't need protection to be kept.

I believe I will contend for the 1st place next year. I hesitate between Mantha, Drouin, R. Strome, E. Kane, Kessel, Benn and Arvidsson. I also got an offer for my Mantha for his Meier. As well I think Giroux can be a buy low candidate, and maybe J. Toews with some efforts.

One clarification, HT is hat-tricks and not hits, correct?

If it's hits I'll take Kane, but if it's hat-tricks then I would keep Mantha. Meier is the next best option, but he doesn't have the same upside.

Sorry, yes HT is hat trick. My only concern with Mantha is his ability to stay healthy.

Mantha by quite a large margin for me.

I like your team, and the keepers you have indicated are locks. Mantha is a decent choice, but I might consider Ryan Strome too. It may be easy to dismiss him, but he scored 59 points in 70 games this year and is a bit more durable than Mantha.

I would keep Mantha since a goal heavy setting and no plus minus to worry about. EB makes a good point about your IR...

We don't have an IR system, or the closest we have is that only 9 out of 12 forwards count in the total. So either his output is good enough to count, or either it is ignore.

I am going to differ from my mates that have posted so far and say I prefer Meier to Mantha and I'd make that trade and make Meier my last keeper.

Axe got head of me, this is exactly what i would do. Make a deal and add Meier to the mix. I would also think of dropping Burns and adding Kane
