About what he did last year? Half a point a game- 2ish sogs per game?

Yup, I would think that is about right. I don't think we will see him have a year like he did previous when he won the Norris.

I think this year will be his status quo for a couple then drop off to a more defensive focused player before retiring.

Yup. That's best case scenario. If he gets no PP time due to Valimaki/Gustafsson taking it over, he may even put up lower numbers than that.

Fantasy, beyond a one-year league, trade-able for a working toaster oven. ‘20-‘21 LATE round pick.
CONDORS, 2022-23 league champions, Reg Dunlop Mem Cup

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

IN Fantasy- put a fork in him, with his age, Calgary would be smart to limit his minutes, try to keep him as fresh as possible for playoffs, i think this next season will be different then most with a lot of the aging vets sitting out b2b games and limited ice time, That of course is assuming the NHL schedule will be a little more compact.

Also i think the cost to get him based on name is not worth it. Just my 2 cents

Probably 35-40 point upside, unless he has to run PP1 due to Valimaki/Gustafsson/whomever they bring in failing. That Norris trophy year was a perfect storm, and he's never really been that player, except that one year.

Think this is the norm for Giordino now, age catching up to him, he passing the torch to the young guys. Might be time to sell now while he still has some name value.

i would think of him as your 5-6 fantasy D in mid size leagues (14-20 teams)

LW: Ehlers, Landeskog, Meier, Debrusk, Foegele, Lee
RW: Pastrnak, Marner, Palmieri, Terry, D. Brown, Bailey, Granlund

Now we've just driven him off a cliff. I think he's still inside the top 50 fantasy D, at least for next year.

dont know about that 5th D is 57th in 14 teams league...im not necessarily thinking that's exactly where he is but i think if you assume that making deal for him that's probably safe bet and if you get more its a bonus.

In mutli-cat, I think he's more a 3-5 guy, depending on # of teams in that 14-20 range. That would be 42-60 (14) or 60-100 (20). Once you have that large a number of teams, the ranges change dramatically.

    Is 20 a mid-sized league to most? I'd think 10-14, maybe 16 would be mid-sized.
