Is Ethan Bear relevant in pts only?
He's a good Dmen, but I'm not sure about his potential.

He definitely could be, depending on the depth of your league.
He is not a top flight point producer but he can chip in. 25-30 points, if that's worthwhile in your league, is probably what you can expect. He might get a few PPPts along the way too. He's a solid 2 way player which means he will get minutes and points, even if he's not a monster point producer.

I see him as Adam Larsson 2.0
He will be a 2nd pairing guy who will primarily be used as a shutdown type Dman. His value is more multi-cat than offense.
If it's me and I own him in a points only format, I'm selling and you know there's always people buying because of his age alone.

Edmonton have other guys in their system who will be relied on for offense. Bear isn't one of them. Seconday offense to some extent maybe, but he wont be "the guy" by any means.

if its for the league in your sig, i dont think league is deep enough for him to have any serious value.

I think the potential is there for him to be a points only contributor... but I don't think the opportunity will come in Edmonton.
He scored a decent amount of points in his WHL days and score over .5 points per game in his AHL season.
He was only able to get 21 this year with Klefbom injured for part of it... with Klefbom ahead of him and Bouchard behind him, a lot of things will have to line up for him to get the point producing role.
