Pastrnak vs Pettersson + Letang

I have the offer on the table of my Pettersson & Letang for Pastrnak.

I'm leaning towards rejecting because of how deep the league is, I'm worried about finding a replacement for Letang (best option in fa would be someone like Gardiner). On the other hand, Pasta is the best player in the deal, and is on a great contract for the next few years while Pettersson is about to get paid. I also don't want to be stuck with Letang when his decline comes.

Someone should be able to pay up more for Pettersson because of his cheap year this deal. Having to add Letang for your side makes it a no from me.

Im looking at your roster, and while Pastrnak is great, this trade would create as many problems (if not more) than what it fixes. You aren't terribly deep at center but you aren't terribly deep on the RW spot either. You have decent depth at D for this setup but Im not sure I'd want to lose Letang with Pettersson to get Pastrnak.

I think I would pass and hold what you have here.

Personally I’d be all over this. Only one more cheap year of Petey, and Letang is nearing the end of his productive years. Pastrnak is an absolute beast.
