I'd probably go with Konecny in a multicat format. He doesn't hit a ton, but averages roughly a hit/game and the offense is close enough for me between them.
Nylander vs Konecny - who do you like more?
Ignore salaries.
Multi-cat league, where Willie obviously doesn't hit at all, but is his points upside way higher than konecny or not?
Thanks

Give me Konecny any day. He's slowly but surely developping into a go-to guy. Nylander: not so much imo.

Another vote for Konecny. The difference in points does not out weight the difference in peripherals. Willie is just too one dimensional. Konecny is much more rounded.

Konecny for me as well. Just seems like the more sturdy/stable asset and they have similar scoring upsides.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I'd be curious to see either guy on a team where they are cemented as a top-3/4 option at forward AND received deployment like they were because it feels like there is untapped potential for both. But yeah, Konecny wins out slightly.
Konecny because he plays on the better team
No. I just love the way the kid plays and really think he is a good option in this type of league.

Konecny for me as well.
He's arriving, and we know he's more physical than Nylander. The scoring upside is close.

Konecny here.
Just doing my part in keeping this thing 100% one sided... Konecny... I love his style of play combined with skill.

It’s hard but I’ll take the contrarian opinion and say Nylander. Should he not be moved (I understand that’s a big “if”) he will be playing with a better C, whether that is Matthews or JT. He did have the really rough contract year which I think has soured people on him a little bit, but this year seemed more on track to be just shy of 35 goals and 65ish points. Konecny had 5 more PPP because Nylander spent a decent amount of the season on the Leafs PP2. If this is addressed he will get time with that (should be) killer first PP unit, which will boost his value even more.
I understand my pick of Nylander relies on a lot of variables, but I think Dubas really will do whatever he can to keep the band together and and I like the potential of Nylander thriving because of that.

i think they are just about even..if you want some extra shots and few extra points i think Nylander will provide that..if you want better overall multi-cat guy its Konecny. Cant go wrong with either but if i owned one of them would not trade them for the other unless there was an add coming.
