They have a long road ahead of them to make my top five. In two seasons, Pittsburgh might fall out of my top five, but I can see TB sliding in there before the Montreal duo.

I will say this about Kotkaniemi though. I do find he is playing a lot stronger on the puck in these playins/playoffs. I am really impressed with the turnaround he's shown since his demotion earlier this year. I was starting to have my doubts about him, if ever so slightly (yes, he's still way too young to give up on yet) but he's really stepped it up.

This post has made me realize that I should be tickled pink with the Canucks top two centers as there really isn't that many teams that have truly elite centers down the middle. Hard to argue with Edmonton being head and shoulders above the rest but it wasn't enough for them to win either.

    1.Edmonton
    2.Pittsburgh
    3.Toronto
    4.Capitals
    5.Colorado
    12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.

    F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,,J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov, C.Giroux, T.Terry
    D: Q. Hughes, A.Pietrangelo, J.Carlson, A.Ekblad, Sanheim
    G:Bobrovsky, Ingram

The last one definitely won't be correct if Strome resigns. I think you meant to say re-signs. One means to quit while the other means to sign again.

Either way I think it's off because Strome isn't in the same conversation as the rest of these guys, as good as Zibs may be.

Seems in some order the same duos appear in most lists. Who’s truly 1-5 is likely subjective. But agree that it’s between EDM (likely 1st) then Pit, Tor, Bos and a toss up between Stl, Tampa, Wash and I’ll say COL with a bit of leash for Kadri.

Advanced stats aren't the be-all end-all but I looked at the top C tandems by Dom Luszczyszyn's all-encompassing Game Score Value Added:

    1. Edmonton - 8.2
    T2. Toronto - 7.7
    T2. Pittsburgh - 7.7

    4. Colorado - 6.1
    T5. Tampa Bay (Point/Cirelli) - 5.9
    T5. Boston - 5.9

    7. Vancouver - 5.2
    8. St. Louis - 5.1

This list seems to jive with most of what folks have been saying here.

    Great support. What Laidlaw said.
