Wow, TB celebrating as if they just won the Stanley Cup. You can tell it means a lot to both teams.

Well, everyone who had Tampa in 5 was right. They just didn't realize they were answering number of overtimes in game 1.

I hated to see either team lose this one. While CBJ held their own as far as chances go, it really felt TB was controlling the play most of the game and simply couldn't beat Korpisalo to finish it off. I hated to see Korpi lose that one considering the way he played.

I thoroughly hate how penalties are called in OT games, and playoff games for that matter. But at least it was on the same track as normal.

The team that controlled it won, but man...I felt like Korp really deserved that one. Now game 2 is Thursday at 3pm. They have less than 48hrs to get back up to the energy levels they need. Chances Elvis comes into game 2 if Korp lets in 2 quick goals? I think Korp gets the start but depending on his legs Elvis might get in quickly.

I'm still content with my CLB in 6 pick.

I am starting to think Tampa sweep now.

The mental momentum gained/lost by the teams from the 5OT thriller will be significant in the next few games.

TB would have to get all the bounces to sweep out a stingy team like CLB. Bounces go both ways, and usually favour the defensive teams
