Thomas vs Zadina
Hey all.
Would Zadina be a big downgrade from Thomas as a keeper? Similar salaries with Zadina having 1 more year on his elc.
Asking because I think Thomas could maybe get me an interesting pick in a trade (maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder in the 15-27 range), but Zadina not so much. It's a small league with only 84 players being kept.

Win now, definitely go with Thomas. In a seven team league, with a six man farm, you'll have no problem finding capable ELCs year after year.

My angle is Thomas versus the pick you think you can get. Do you think you can get a better player than Thomas at that spot? If so, make the deal, if not, don't.

Its not worth that pick for me, I really like Thomas. Zadina seems meh, more like a 3rd line guy who just plays.

Another vote for Thomas.
Also, you probably want to keep Eichel. He's going to break 100 points next season. Spend money on forwards, save money on dmen. IE trade Carlson and keep Eichel

I agree with those points.
I'll add that I like Thomas over Zadina because even though Thomas is going to get a raise, he's going to prove this year why he's worth it.

If I were to trade Carlson, who would my 4th keeper D be? Gustafsson depending on next contract? Boqvist who still has 2 years left on his elc?
