I like Hoglander in a multicat format. He's small but loves to get involved.
Points only, Denisenko.
Who do you think has the better potential? best career? What's there upside?

Both these guys have the tools to be very successful NHL players. I do believe Denisenko has the higher upside. It is difficult to compare their numbers from the SHL and the KHL but in International play with their peers Denisenko compared to Hoglander has certainly been more of an impact player. But how this transitions to the NHL remains to be seen. I agree with Axe, Hoglander while small, likes to mix it up, but Denisenko is no wall flower either and plays an aggressive game as well. Again, how this transitions to the Bigs remains to be seen. My main concern here is unfortunately the "Russian Factor". If things shake out like a lot of folks are saying, Deniskenko will be given a shot at top six minutes next year. If that works out, great, but if a prolonged stint in the AHL happens, well, not so good. I don't see Hoglander cracking the Canucks top six either next year but I don't think he heads back to Sweden. I take Denisenko here but there is risk, the safer bet is Hoglander.

I go with Denisenko.
He has the better shot of playing top 6 minutes next season.
Hoglander is a couple years from being in Vancouver top 6.
Hoglander could be the better option in multi cat leagues. But as Bubba55 said Denisenko is no wall flower. So I think with his offensive upside for points and the fact that he could put up ok stats in outside of goals, assists, and points. Denisenko would be the guy I would go with.
Denisenko is signed and there's a good chance the Florida Panthers shed talent this summer and open up a top-6 slot for Denisenko so I'd be looking at that opportunity.
After reading you guys I finally decided to trade for both... I'll have to wait & be patient

Points only I would pick Denisenko.
Keeper's league, points only, 24 teams league Skaters: 1 pt for goal and 1 pt for assist, Goalie, 2 pts for win, + 2 pts for SO
In any format, Hoglander. I don't trust Florida and their ability to develop prospects at all. They have had some very highly rated prospects over the past 6 years and none of them have become anything.
In spite of the Florida development I like Denisenko here with the higher ceiling and likely faster impact. Hoglander is no slouch, and isn't far behind.

It's a full-keeper, but I plan on trading him for a mid-round pick when the season starts. This may sound like a weird trade, but in my format Boychuk is not half bad. PKTOI, Hits....
I also received OEL and Verhaeghe for Foegele and Ceci. I received Foegele for Koivu.
Basically ended up like this:
Koivu + Ceci + Kase Vs Denisenko + Hoglander + 29th pick + Verhaeghe + Boychuk
I would do that trade any day of the week

Some solid asset management there!
I can see how Boychuk would be rostered, he just wouldn't be on my squad
