    Default Laine leaves game

Laine left the game in the third period with a hand injury. The Jets are looking like toast.

Montreal beat Pittsburgh in game one because Price was a game changer. The Jets have arguably the Vezina trophy winner this year plus a lot more offense than Montreal with Hellebuyck, even without Laine and Scheifele.

If Hellebuyck can step it up, they should still be able to win this series.

    I would take Montreal's D core over Winnipeg's though, but it's a fair point.

Weber and Petry give a team 50 minutes a night with a superstar dman on the ice. That's a big advantage over Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk. Hellebuyck does give the Jets a puncher's chance in any game just like Price does but if Laine and Scheifele are out, that's a lot of offense to try and replace.
