League details would be great, roto or h2h etc, how much for hits/blocks/goals/assists

Greenway has the bigger upside for goals/assists but Crouse is going to be one if not the biggest hitter in the league for the next 6+ years but tops out as a 3rd line winger who can on occasion fill in 2nd.

Depends on what you need. Greenway looks to be a solid guy who does a bit of everything - he'll put up 50-60 points in his prime with higher end peripherals. Crouse on the other hand will put up fantastic hit numbers but will only hit 40-45 points in his prime most likely. In a vacuum I'd go with Greenway, but its really situational.

I like Crouse here. Of all the category contributions between them, Crouse's hits will be the most substantial. Between two-similarly valuable players, give me the one who moves a category more. They're easier to trade than guys who are ok at many things.

First off, welcome to the Forum! As you can already see from the answers you have received, comparing players like Greenway and Crouse is highly dependent on what your particular situation actually looks like, your team roster, your league format and scoring stats. If you want to get the most out of the forum, you have to provide us with the information we need to answer your questions as accurately as we can. So, the answer to your question is, it depends (:

Overall it depends, however I prefer Greenway in most formats. He has more offensive upside and is also a good contributor in PIM. So it's Greenway's offense + PPP potential vs Crouse's hits and the occasional SHP. It's close but I think Greenway fits better as a long-term mainstay in any format while Crouse seems pigeonholed in a role that doesn't contribute a ton of offense.

As mentioned in your other thread, details are key. The more info you share the better the replies you'll get. We're guessing about your league setup.

Unless your desire is hits primarily, I'd want Greenway.

I would go with Greenway. He appears to be getting more of a push up the Wild lineup.

Without context Greenway looks to have more upside.

They are still both in a spot to explode on the scene. My gut says Greenway... He hits enough and will hit more in time. and yes a big guy indeed!
