Man, that's a tough one. McD is obviously above everyone in the league, but Matthews is still above ALMOST everyone in the league. Marner in my mind is WAY above DeBrincat, so I don't think I'd do it unless you really believe DeBrincat will have a big bounce back.

Every time he's played a full season, McDavid has over 100 points and he's not in his prime. Matthews and Marner are good players and should be just over PPG, but the name cache is because they're in Toronto. You're getting the best player and DeBrincat should rebound to at least 60 points IMO. If not, you can replace him with another young gun and you've still go the best player in the league.

I think this is a good trade for both teams. I'd do it and if Debrincat turns it around, this trade just became even better.

McDavid for me as well. Debrincat is icing on the cake. He's a 22-year-old old who already has a 40-goal, 75-point season under his belt.

Yeah I have to walk away. He upped the price to Matthews/Pasta for McDavid/DeBrincat. Not a price I wanna pay.

Good call, it was borderline anyway. I think push/shove I probably would have gone with the McD side, but Matthews/Pasta is too much.
