    Default Who to keep?

    It's a H2H league counting G, A, P, +/-, PPP, PIM, Hits, Sog, Fow, Blocks, W, Sv%, Gaa, Saves
Starting 3/3/3/5/2G, and keeping 10 players where at least three of them are prospects (Prospect = skater < 201 gp; goalie < 101 gp)

I retooled a bit last year and have a young team and a bunch of high picks this year (though not a top two pick....)

Team: (with GP #s in parenthesis if prospect eligible).

    C: Larkin, Trochek, Cirelli (168)
LW: Mantha, Meier, Bjorkstrand, Athanasiou, Bertuzzi (199)
    RW: Rantanen, Svechnikov (150), Tarasenko, Buchnevich , Necas (72), R. Thomas (136)
D: Rielly, Fox (70), D. Toews (116), Zadorov, Larsson, Johnson, Dunn
    G: Shesterkin (12), Jarry (62), Merzlikins (33), Nedeljkovic (6), Peterson (19), Elliott

I can only keep two G. Which 10 ya got? I can theoretically make some trades, but pre-keeper deadline trading is always tough.

    Thanks!

    Start 3/3/3/5/2

LW: B. Tkachuk, Stutzle (c), Colton (c), Ehlers
RW: Rantanen, Caufield (lw), Svechnikov (lw), Foegele (lw)

I really like Adam Fox going forward - I'm not sure you get another shot at him if there is anybody keen in your pool.
He's the guy that I think will NOT be on most people's lists - which is why I include him first for discussion.

Both Fox & Shesterkin will still be "minors eligible" for you after 20-21... which is good reason to keep them.
Cirelli, I think - is the real deal - and the future C2, possibly C1 of Tampa Bay. (Stamkos is fine as a C/W type)

I will say that I, personally, looooove the potential in Robert Thomas.
But I think he is redraftable... most fantasy hockey fans aren't yet really, truly aware of what he has.
And since he won't be Jr-eligible after 82gp next season, he should slide.

Bjorkstrand is also a strong consideration for a #10 keeper spot.
I'm not super high on Timo Meier and Anthony Mantha.
SJ (especially) & DET are both bad teams... and those first liners are going to have big negative +/-... with holding Larkin, not sure you can afford to hold another DET line 1 forward.
I know they are both young - and have had good years - but I'm not sure they are high-end players.
I can see Bjorkstrand outscoring both... but I also think Bjorkstrand is more "redraftable" than Mantha & Meier - who I would hold, maybe try to trade, if you have people owning SJ or DET players.
Given that you have Larkin, there may not be another fantasy GM that loves Mantha - and that may make him cut-able.
Bjorkstrand is also likely to have bad +/-... so it's hard job picking 2 of those 3, but I think you do have to choose.

I also think a lot of people are hanging onto Trochek's 75pt season WAY too hard.
That was one perfect "everything came together" season where he had 27ppp.
He's not a 27ppp kind of guy... he's a 10-15ppp kind of guy, which makes him a 60-65pt player going forward IF (IF !!!) he can play 82gp.
I think he's also redraftable, but I don't think we'll see the 70pt/250sog/bighit season of 17/18 from him.
And I'm not sure Carolina is good fit for him with their high-end youngsters emerging.

Same as Penguin, except i would keep Jarry, Merzilikins, Nedeljkovic or Peterson or Trochek (because of peripherals) instead of Cirelli

dependings on playoffs and off-season moves, if Jarry becomes the go to guy in pittsburgh, etc.

Cirelli, although i think will be good, is still underrated and you will probably be able to redraft him early in draft.

    Thanks all.

I'm leaning: Rantanen, Meier, Mantha, Larkin, Bjorkstrand, Tank, Rielly, Shesterkin, Jarry/Merzlikins (depending on how the playoffs shake out) at the moment. But ya'll have given me some food for thought. I really don't want to lose guys like Cirelli and Fox. Necas and Thomas are redraftable in later rounds I think.
