I read that if you have the NHL package from the regular season that the play-in games would be free. The exhibition games are not available. I have NBC Sports in the States and will use a stream for the Blackhawks since I don't have a subscription for their RSN. I have been using streams for baseball and it has been easy to find a reliable stream.

By law, we are the crooks. However i get better quality streams from sportsurge and no blackouts. Once they fix that i may consider paying.

NHL66 is pretty good site, replaced reddit for me. I subscribe to sportsnet so i wont be using this now but in regular season some Leafs game are divided between sportsnet and tsn so i use NHL66 for games that are on TSN and found it very reliable..

FWIW, yes I know streams are easy to find and I also appreciate all the links shared here. It’s just really frustrating how blind and short-sighted the NHL acts at every turn. Casual and new fans aren’t finding illegal streams for this stuff. They ~might~ be willing to pay $30 for two months, especially sports starved people frustrated with baseball.

I watched a bit of the Leafs/Habs game. Both teams were sloppy at times but the Habs were pretty bad from what I saw when I was watching. Way too many cute passing plays back and forth and then nothing to show for it. Shoot the puck boys.
Being on the East Coast, no way I was making it to 1130pm here in NS to catch the start of the Oilers game, as much as I wanted to.
