I'll go with hoisting the cup in Edmonton.

Heck I live in Edmonton but I see no real way to take advantage of this situation other than soak up the city wide vibe if the Oilers can go deep. Makes we wonder what the plans for crowd control around Roger's Place will be like...
The hotels and restaurants will benefit from the players and NHL personnel coming to the city. Local fans will be engaged throughout the playoffs whether or not the Oilers advance. I think the economic impact will be significant compared to the outlook without being a host city.

So has the NHL went back on the hub cities? In this article - https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-phase-3...ns/c-317335326 It says that the NHL hub cities are still to be announced.

Games will be played and teams will be housed at Phase 4 Secure Zones in two hub cities to be announced. The secure zones will include hotels, restaurants, practice facilities and the arena, where exhibition, qualifier and postseason games will be played.

Bettman won't officially announce it until he HAS too. He's prolly told 2 cities they are the back up and get set up to prepare if Ontario has a spike out of no where (or Edmonton/Alberta)
