I think they both have high ceilings. Krav a little higher but newhook is safer with a higher floor.
Hi everyone,
I'm in discussions about a trade for rookies. He has Kravtsov and Newhook and I'm not sure which one to target. I've been watching Kravtsov for a few years and have him in another league but wanted to see what the public opinion was so that I don't let my bias get in the way. It's a multi-cat keeper league, and I need help in several positions so eligibility doesn't matter. Currently it's a smaller deal but it could grow. I'm sure he'd give up one but not both.
Thanks in advance!

I like both player a lot, but I would take Newhook. I like his progression and Kravtsov kind of regressed IMO
31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...
(basically best NHL player)
I'll take Kravtsov, even if he isn't signed.
Newhook for me.
I'd target Newhook as well
12 teams - points only, keep all
20 players ( 8 FWD - 4 DEF - 2 GK + BENCH)
FWD
Kucherov
Kuznetsov
Crosby
Kane
Lindholm
Aho
J.Hughes
Landeskog
DEF
Hamilton, Jones, Montour, Letang
G
Markstrom, Grubauer
BENCH
Glass, Gustafsson, Tolvanen, Andersson, Levi
At this point, Newhook is the pick.
Newhook
I love both kids and have them stashed in my main keeper. I'm curious on why everyone has soured on Kravtsov? This time last year, people were drooling over him like he was the next breakout Russian, and now it seems like most are down on him. Don't get me wrong--I love Newhook--but Kravtsov has the tools to be high-end.

Newhook pretty easily in my book.
Another vote for Newhook. Kravtsov already has somewhat of a disappointment tag now after the initial hype while Newhook ist still to make his mark on the NHL. I don't know which guy will turn out better eventually, but I'm confident that Newhook will have higher value once he's the new shiny toy and the hype train starts rolling. You might consider moving him then (for a better return than Kravtsov would get you by now).
