Lightbulb Sam Reinhart or Dylan Larkin

In a keeper league where we count only point for goal and assist, would you keep Reinhart or Larkin and why? I don't know who to keep between both.

I think Buffalo will get a better team for 3-5 years comparing to Detroit and Reinhart is in a good position playing with Eichel. In my own opinion, Larkin is the best player of the two but will have less opportunity to produce comparing to Reinhart, but both player are very close.

    thanks for your help.

Dylan Larking for me, and it's a pretty easy choice.

I'll take skill and opportunity every time, over depending on a player playing with another.

Larkin has more skill and all the offense will flow through him, top line C, top PP for a long time.

Reinhart could get bumped down to the 3rd line and then you're SoL

Does position matter? I agree with you, I think Larkin is the better player but Detroit is such a dumpster fire and Mantha seems to be a band aid boy so that doesn't help Larkin's production. I really thought Larkin would improve this year, closer to a point per game, not regress from two years ago.
Buffalo doesn't seem any better than Detroit currently but Reinhart is attached to Eichel at the hip.
If position doesn't matter then I would want Larkin but I would possibly consider Reinhart if it does.

It would help if we knew more. Do positions matter and if so how many do you start at each position. What does the rest of your roster look like? How many can you keep and what are your keeper rules?

For all we know, the answer to "who should I keep" could be "both". Until I see more info, it's hard to give an accurate reply.

Dylan Larkin and for me it isn't even close, in a points only league. I think he has more offensive upside then Reinhart.

Another clear vote for Larkin. He wasn't overly successful last season, but has shown a season earlier that he has the potential to carry a team on his back. Reinhart hasn't shown much of anything yet. He still has good upside - roughly to become a guy that Larkin already is. Don't overthink this.
