I'm not much for flavor-of-the-week, political scandal tell-all-books BUT the book coming out from Mary Trump has piqued my interest:

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/0...ce-book-350808

She has deep insight as a family member and she is a clinical psychologist who holds a Ph.D who can offer credible opinions on her uncle's mental state now and in his past.

Bipolar really sucks. Have a friend who has done some really wild things while in the manic stage (like jumping off the roof of a building), and becomes extremely religious during those times as well. But it's the depressive times where you really worry. In Kanye's case it's even more compounded by the hero worship of someone who clearly needs help, but instead gets enabled by people when he does things like say he is going to run for President or run his church services. It's startling how similar his behaviour is to my friend's and to think that you have extreme fame compounding it all, and people who just want to exploit him as well. Sad.

A patriot who loves his country, condemns the senseless rioting (being done mostly by Democrats) and understands that lawlessness threatens us all, right & left.
Too bad Democrat leaders and voters understand none of that.

My goodness, if Donald Trump did this, the Dems would be salivating until they were hospitalized for dehydration.

Canadians and the liberal media meanwhile: "Meh."

I can’t figure out which statement is funnier.

Repeatedly saying “If Trump did this” for things he’s done.

    Or

    Repeatedly calling him a Patriot.

    Just continually building self owns.

Commuting sentences of allies who attempt to stop congressional and FBI investigations....like only a true Patriot would.

Trump is solely responsible for most of the deaths from the Corona virus in the U.S. He has ignored it since it hit American soil. First, it was because of his ongoing trade deal with China, which is why he first praised Xi Jinping for his handling of the virus. Then he downplayed it while he and his cronies adjusted their stock portfolios. He has continued to ignore and downplay it for the sake of the economy because he knows that without a strong economy leading up to the election, he's done. He will be embarrassed at the polls come November and will be spending the rest of his criminal life between the courts and prison begining in 2021.

Republicans are terrified. As they should be. They have enabled this monstrosity by turning a blind eye to Trump's repeated indiscretions and illegal acts. These folks have utterly failed as politicians and they have broken their oath of office. Never before has such a larger group of politicians put party before country.

Trump and the Republicans will be utterly decimated in November. They deserve nothing less. It will still be a long road towards the salvation of American dignity and any semblance of leadership, but it needs to start somewhere and it need to start soon.

We can only hope that this landslide in November will be the first tentative steps toward America's much needed healing.

338Canada.com is a trusted source for aggregating various polls, massaged by statistical analysis that does election predictions. The guy who does it is based in Canada but is actively tracking the USA 2020 election:

Worth tracking, whether you 'like' the data or not.

Yeah, it's close. That's a damning appraisal of the state of the USA.

I can understand people who like Trump because it benefits them in some way (I think it's gross but I can understand it), but if you actually believe he's a "patriot", then I think you're one of the people who just has the wool completely over their eyes. To the point that nobody here can even have a rational conversation with you about any of it. A ****ing patriot, jesus christ.

It has Biden's odds of winning at 85%. That's close?
