I'm being offered Aho + 1st and 3rd overall (Lafrenière + Byfield or Kaprizov or any other good rookie)

My team is not 100% updated in my signature but I did win the pool this year, now that the season is officially over. MacKinnon(100 pt player) is greater then Aho (ppg player) hands down. Our pool is a salary league based on points. The thing is, i just picked up Vasilevsky , (who fixes my goalie issue and is definitely an upgrade on my goalies) who should get 100+ pts, which will make up for the points MacKinnon would have got me. The thing with the 2 draft picks is how shure can we be with rookies. If both rookies I draft can put up 60+ pts, while on there entry level contract, then I think I will be happy but if the 2 rookies I draft do what Hughes and Kakko did this year, I think I get screwed. Thoughts??

This really depends how high you are on Lafreneire. If he's close to the next Crosby, then you win. If he's not, then you lose. MacKinnon in a cap league has got to be pretty much the most valuable player there is, so I'd counter asking for more. Maybe another great current player on top of all that's already offered? Or just decline, haha.

I agree with the above, in that MacKinnon is very much the #1 value player in a cap league. I don’t hate the trade - just understand this is asking you to give up more than McDavid.

I think that you likely lose this deal in year 1 of ELC's, win this deal in year 3 of the ELC's, and year 2 is a question mark.
To be honest, I want to see an updated roster before I commit one way or another.
