Default Trying to get an idea on RFA/UFA salaries

The "pandemic" and uncertainty in the current NHL season and next season has completely skewed my thoughts on upcoming RFA/UFA contracts in my multicat salary keeper league.

Any opinions on the AAV salaries for the following RFA/UFA would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to guestimate and gauge how much cap room i need next year.

    Mike Hoffman
    Ilya Kovalchuk
    Anthony Mantha
    Erik Gustafsson
    Eric Cernak
    Tristan Jarry
    20tm multicat salary keeper
    19 Active/6 Reserve/ 33 Minors
    3C/3LW/3RW/3SKT/6D/1G
    Skaters: G/A/PlusMinus/PIM/SOG/PPP/SHP/Hit/Blk/FOW/FO%
    Goalies: W/GAA/SV/SV%/SHO

    Hoffman 7M
Kovalchuk 1.5M or less, but with bonuses added
    Mantha 6M
    Gustafsson 4M
Cernak 3.5M but only two years
    Jarry 3-4M

Wow. I was close to your projections! Not liking some of the AAV's, as i do not have the cap room. Cernak and Jarry are the ones that I was a bit "off" on. They are higher than anticipated.

Thanks as usual for your advice!

    And Luke Kunin ?
CONDORS, 2022-23 league champions, Reg Dunlop Mem Cup

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

    Stutzle, Sergachev
    Keller, Doughty, Verhaeghe, ErikssonEk
    E.Lindholm, Barzal, J.Gaudreau, Huberdeau, S. Wright
    Gustavsson

    Pietrangelo 9M
    Barzal 8M
Cirelli 3-4M on the same 2-3 year bridge deal that everyone with the lightning takes. He's worth 5-6M (my model says 6.7M right now).
    Debrusk 3.5M
Labanc I really have no idea. I want to say 3-4M, but honestly nothing within 1-6M would surprise me too much at this point.
    Pulock 6.5M
    Kunin 3.5M

Link to a really good article by the guy who writes the Capped column, but it is from February, so the numbers have likely been tweaked since then. Hmm, maybe somebody needs to a revised one soon?

Yeah, I've definitely been making some tweaks since then, but I also need to sit down and make one major overhaul to fix an issue. Have been putting that off a little, and also have my PEng license I'm applying for, among other things keeping life busy. Should get to it at some point before NHL free agency opens anyways.

Good luck with the licensing. I figured you'd see the "Capped Signal" one I posted it.

Trying to guestimate and gauge how much cap room i need next year.

    Mike Hoffman - $4.8M x 1
    Ilya Kovalchuk - $2M x 1
    Anthony Mantha - $6.1M x 6
    Erik Gustafsson - $2M x 2
    Eric Cernak - $3.4M x 2
Tristan Jarry - I have no idea on this one...I have a sneaky suspicion (might just be wishful thinking) that both Jarry and Murray are going to get offer sheeted from other teams to completely mess up the Penguins. I will go with $4.2M x 1.
