    Default Turcotte, Glass and Thomas

    Hi guys,

    I am in a keeper points only (1goal =1 point and 1 assist= 1 point) and i have these 3 players:
    Alex Turcotte
    Cody Glass
    Robert Thomas

Can you rank these guys not only for next year but in the future. I probably need to drop someone or at least, trade one.

    Thanks.

I agree, I love Turcotte's upside. Also, Glass will be a top 6 forward for Vegas for a long time!

Those are realistic projections, upside wise. I think Turcotte can push 90 points, like a Barkov type.

This setting maximizes Thomas's value. I might actually prefer Thomas to Glass since I am starting wonder about Glass's ability to stay healthy.

Completely agree. Thomas is going to turn some heads. I’d easily prefer him to Glass.

He can play winger you think? Because at center, he is behind OReilly and Schenn. Maybe at right wing, he can on the 1st line and first pp??

If you need to trade one, I'd put them all of the market and try to find best turn.

If it's down to dropping someone, it's hard to say without knowing whether positions matter. My instinct would be to drop Glass if none of these guys have any trade value.

I can keep these 3 if I drop Ryan Strome... Strome has a big season this year but his upside can be less than these 3 young players...dont know!

I personally prefer these over R.Strome, but more aimed towards future upside. Look at who Thomas played with for a good part of the season and he still put up respectable numbers. I don't get to see much of Strome, but I'm inclined to believe these 3 will turn into the better players.
Points only keeper. 12 Teams. No pos requirements. 18 skaters / 3 goalies (2 count for points.) G/A = 1 point each (includes goalies) Goalies = 1.5 for W / 4.5 for SO. Minors - 4 year protection. Prospects added during their draft year only. Undrafted = waivers.

One of the recent Ramblings spoke of how Thomas was on a 52 pt pace while playing 3rd line minutes. O'Reiley and Schenn are signed long term so Thomas will have to be moved to wing or he'll continue to get 3rd line minutes. His game really stood out the few times I saw him this season.

Try and trade who ever you can get the best deal for as they are all good keepers. No use wasting an asset. Try for a 2-1 to increase a keeper spot.
See what you can get, even a draft pick.

I'd definitely be willing to deal one, but not Turcotte, and I'd prefer to deal Glass.
