Default Please rank these young players/prospects

    For league not in sig.

    Points only, 1pt for G/A, 2pts for W, 1pt for SO

I need help sorting through all these high end young players/prospects as I have quite a few draft picks in our upcoming draft and I am going through a major rebuild. It may be splitting hairs on some of them but I really don’t know how to rank them. If you are wondering why there is so many quality players left is we have no farm system.

    Zegras
    Kaprizov
    Shesterkin
    Denisenko
    Kubalik
    Bjorkstrand
    Seider
    Fox
    Tippet
    Batherson
    McMichael
    Norris
    Merzlinkins
    Perunovich
    Dobson

Thanks for this. I get it is quite the list. Will REP where I can.

    F:
Kaprizov (risky until feet are in NA but most ready to go player)
    Zegras
    Bjorkstrand
    Kubalik

    Denisenko
    McMichael
    Tippet
    Batherson
    Norris

    D:
    Fox
    Dobson/Perunovich
    Seider

    G:
    Shesterkin (more starts next year?)
    Merzlinkins (splitting time likely)

This is how I would draft them based on upside and wait time.

We also dont have a farm in our points league but we can keep 26 with 22 started so its quite similar, you can only find room for close to NHL prospects. If you are rebuilding though, Id find room for most of these guys depending on your roster.

No way to rank across positions without knowing more about the league, # of teams, positions started, # players kept etc.

Thanks very much! More info on the league is a 8 team, 35 player roster with the top 4LW/4C/4RW/6D/2G counting at the end of the year. Drop at least 5 at seasons end.

Keep 240 is similar to our league, keep 260. Rebuilding Id be all over the G, top 4 F and depending on your D situation Id want the top 3 D. Probably wouldn't draft the rest this year.

Good luck, let us know who you land.

Thanks all for your advice and wisdom. I have 6 draft picks in this draft (trying to get more) and one is 1st overall. I will be using that on Lafreniere.

Does Rossi, Perfetti, Holtz, Askarov or Raymond beat out any of the players listed?

Not for me judging by whats available. I dont know much about those guys but im pretty sure none of them will be in an NHL uniform next year. With guys like Bjorkstrand who could do 60+ pts next year being available to you i wouldnt waste a roster spot on 2020 draft picks outside the top 5. I suggest investing in Dobber's guide when it comes out. Its helped me so much in my points leagues over the years.
