    Default Early keeper look

    Hey!
Second league in sig. I have several bubble keepers and I would like to have inputs on my early keeper selection (highlighted in bold). Right now I have Bergeron and Bjorkstrand on the outside looking in and one prospect in excess (probably Demko or Caufield unfortunately).

Would you choose the same keepers? Thanks for any response ! I'll rep where I can.

I would be tempted to keep Bergeron over Miller.
Also I like the upside of Hronek and what is going forward in Detroit. That I would drop Barrie. Hronek was on pace for 38pts, Barrie was on pace for 46pts. One is only going to get better, the other has found his peak.

I would drop Demko and keep Caufield.
You have Rask, Markstrom and Shesterkin.

Hronek or Bergeron instead of Barrie
    Caufield instead of Demko

Your forwards keepers are good like that... but ask me tomorrow and I might swap Bergeron with O'Reilly, Ehlers or Miller lol

It seems way to early to think about keepers, to be honest.

Consider Demko versus Caufield. Markstrom is UFA, if he re-signs in Vancouver, then I keep Caufield. If he goes somewhere else and Demko is a starter, it might change the equation a bit.

Gun to my head, I go with what you have bolded, except I'd take Caufield as a prospect over Demko.

    Thank you for your inputs!
als_revenge you're right that it is way too early to look at keepers, but since I am already aware that I will need to shed keepers and maybe create some 2 for 1 packages to cut my losses, I wanted to have a first input on which players I should package.
I see that opinions on Barrie are that I should drop him, I had the personal belief that maybe he could rebound to 60pts in the right team.
Similarly, I see that no one suggested yet that I should keep Bjorkstrand, which was something I am mulling considering the hype that Dobber spread with each rambling on him
Again, thank for those who chimed in so far!
