We said as long as they 'wore the jersey'

So Kovalchuk never wore a Jets Jersey and Randy Carlyle never wore a Coyotes jersey.

I am glad that Mr. Hockey will dawn his Red Wings jersey and not the ugly green and blue combination of the Whalers!

Sorry, was on a walk when the pick was made, then we had quotes from people for things. Throw in making supper, and I haven't been on since around noon.

Also, als revenge does my cell number, so he can text me as needed.

I was debating Bobby Orr (Boston) and Dominik Hasek (Ottawa).

Guys I thought we were picking players who actually played well for the team we're drafting them as not just sneaking elite players when they made a brief stop somewhere in the twilight of their career?

12 team H2H Most Cats Wins; Keep 6/winner keeps 7; G A PPP +/- SHP SOG HIT BLK PIM // W SV GAA SV% SHO
    3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 6D, 2G, 5 bench

    C - McDavid, Crosby, Tavares
    LW - DeBrincat
    RW - Meier, Miller
    D -
    G - Jarry

I wanted to take Jagr Pittsburgh, but then looked at Dallas and couldn't find 7 guys I would want. I was just trying to be creative!!

This works to my benefit big time:

    1) I don't want to take a Penguin so I don't care about people making extra room for a Penguin pick later.

    2) I only had 6 Dallas Stars players that I was interested and forced a 7th one onto my list so that I had a list of 7... and Jagr's 34 games and 26 points in a Dallas jersey were no where even close to my list of Dallas Stars players.

Yeah, that's sort of one point I haven't grasped. Is Jagr being judged by his career, or by his one season in Dallas? [I seriously considered taking Hasek for Ottawa with my first pick, but went with Bobby in Boston since this pick is unambiguous.]

I'll take Bobby Hull of the Winnipeg Jets, I guess. I hope that doesn't count as my expansion pick, lol. But if it does, just let me know.

I agree with the basic philosophy above... Wayne Gretzky, Blues would be the example of what not to do. I see Zorro’s pick was flipped back to Jagr, Penguins. Or are there no rules at all ?

oh. I see it’s back to Stars
    34 GP, 26 pts
    Pavelski would’ve been similar choice
CONDORS, 2022-23 league champions, Reg Dunlop Mem Cup

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

If Jagr has been changed to Pittsburgh, I'm totally ok with my Bobby Hull pick being changed to Chicago. I'd like to follow whatever the spirit of the rules are. I picked Winnipeg to be strategic, following the Jagr from Dallas pick.

Y’know, after a little thought (rare for surgeons), I totally retract my previous objections - actually Zorro paid me off - but seriously, this is meant for fun, and if I need to get creative (also rare...), then so much the better.

I was under this impression too. Otherwise I might have taken Gretzky from STL.

In the end I don’t really care personally. It is just for fun and I’m not trying to build the best team either, I’m trying to get my favourite players from each team.
