    League in sig.

Would you prefer Necas or Heiskanen in my setup?

Heiskanen will be a bit of HIT/BLK liability, and your blueline is more stacked than your forwards. He's also not farm eligible. You do have D-points, and he shoots & scores more than Necas right now.

Necas would be farm eligble, if he's demotable, but he likely isn't. Is Necas multi-position?

I think Necas is likely more useful right now. Heiskanen may have more name value, which means you can put him in a package easier to stack your team even more.

    Tough call.

Both are excellent young players. Stevegamer makes a good point about Heiskanen is no longer minors eligible as he's now played 150 games. Necas is sitting just over 70GP but I see you have him on your main roster. I am going to assume he can still be sent back down if need be. Necas probably doesn't slot in as much right now because you're team is solid.

I guess it depends on where you stand comparing Heiskanen vs Klefbom because he's the only guy I see Heiskanen bumping as a starter right now. Klefbom brings stats that Miro doesn't.

I'd probably keep what you have simply because I see the benefits of the minors eligibility.

First off, wow is your team stacked!! Most of your forwards are beasts!! Even your up and comers are top prospects!! You have a really good team, so congratulations on that!!

I have always been a big Necas fan.. Well atleast in the short years he has been around.. I first saw him at the World Junior tournament and wow he looked good.. He also looked great in Carolina, specifically near the end when the games were cut short..

Heiskanen is a stud in his own right. The guy oozes talent and eventually is going to be running that PP in Dallas.. He's already been to an all-star game and he already has the trust of his teammates and coaches!!

If I had to choose by looking at your team, I am probably keeping the defenceman.. But what's stopping you from trading both guys for a stud goalie?? Is there anybody in your league that would part with a bonified starter??

He doesn't own Heiskanen Z. I'd say hes looking at a trade offer to deal away Necas for him.

Yes the Miro owner has made him available and has mentioned Necas as a return.
Necas is minors eligible but on my active keepers. Im looking at who the best long term multicat player, so minors eligibility isnt a primary concern.

I'd make the trade. Both are excellent prospects, but I have the feeling Heiskenen is more likely to dominate (relative to other defencemen) than Necas will (relative to other forwards). I'm not concerned about your minors because: (a) you are in win now; and (b) your minors is pretty stacked as well. Honestly, it's a fair trade; I can see either manager being happy with this. It really comes down to team needs, I think.

Whoops sorry buddy. With how your team is looking, I would rate Heiskanen a little above Necas.. Even though I really like both players!!

I still think you should grab another starting goalie!!

I rate them as a coinflip, so give me Necas's minors eligibility, because I'm sure I'd rather have Necas & either Chychrun or Parayko than Heiskanen & your worst prospect - who I bet you can trade for something since you have magic in this league.

With Klingberg now and Harley sometime in the next couple years, it seems that there will be a more-offensive minded option than Heiskanen on the Stars, depressing his value. I'd bet that the Stars are going to save Heiskanen for tough minutes and PK duty and not shower him with PP1 time. As a result, I'd lean Necas.

Necas > Heiskanen I own both and am in a similar league. Heiskanen is definitely a better real life player than Necas but not with these stat categories. Heiskanen's grit stats will continue to be a negative at a position you wish get those stats from. And Klingberg is going to continue to get the prime offensive opportunities while Heiskanen will be given tougher defensive assignments.
