I think Barrasso was still left as well.

Hakan Loob was the greatest omission for me. I really wanted him. 50-goal, 100-point player in the NHL. Won a Stanley Cup, two gold medals at the World Championships and an Olympic gold medal (and 17 points in 16 career Olympic games). When he went back to Sweden, he so dominated that league that they created a Hakan Loob trophy to give to the top goal scorer.

Very underrated player. Every year, I hope they put him in the Hall of Fame, but they never do.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

I considered Corey Perry for my toughness/pest role but I thought McSorley and Avery were better options. Also considered Staal and came close drafting Fuhr multiple times.

So are we aloud to vote on all 4 matchups, just the 3 we are not involved in or none at all?

yeah I had a hard time picking the best 3 goalies still available. Rogie Vachon, Tuukka Rask, Mike Richter, Chris Osgood...lots of good ones. Just food for thought: I also wonder if a guy like Matt Murray will be remembered as an all time great in 50 years because he has 2 Cups (so far) in the 30 team era and will probably have a lot of wins when he peaces out. He might get kind of a Fuhr-like "he got the job done" aura to his career.

I almost wished we'd had a 5 spot bench to scoop up guys like that

12 team H2H Most Cats Wins; Keep 6/winner keeps 7; G A PPP +/- SHP SOG HIT BLK PIM // W SV GAA SV% SHO
    3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 6D, 2G, 5 bench

    RW - Meier, Miller
    D -
    G - Jarry

I’d say yes just because if we say no, there really isn’t a way to monitor if you have or haven’t voted I don’t think.
