Grigorenko deal in CLB is worth $1.2M. There were bigger offers in KHL from I understand (double in at least one case), but he wanted to return, shoot his shot.
I wont be rushing to pick him up but thats me.

It's a good landing spot for him though.
Him being a super prospect seems so far removed!
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

The only appeal right now is in super deep leagues where he somehow still qualifies for minors as a decent call-up. No star power here.

I think he could be a solid 40-point guy. Maybe 50 if things go really well.
The name Grigorenko will always remind me of Wings prospect Igor Grigorenko. Pretty big hopes in the early 00s but a very bad car accident and broken leg derailed his career. Was never the same.
Anyways....carry on.
He's a watch list kind of guy for now. I'm in a super deep league, so maybe he ends up on a team's roster next year, might even be mine.

This guy's got more lives than a cat...
Via Bob McKenzie:
On the NHL’s rejection of the contract that CBJ submitted for Mikhail Grigorenko for the 20-21 season, it could be as simple as CBJ/Grigorenko re-submitting the contract when the 2020-21 UFA period opens (July 1 or later if 19-20 hockey is played in the summer).

With the KHL over, they probably could give him a minimum deal with games played incentives or something, as long as the structure was legal. It'd essentially be free money for him if they don't play, and gets him locked in. But are they in a spot where they are trying to keep those last few contracts available for this year?

If he came back mid-season - to be eligible to play 19/20 season would he not be subject to re-entry waivers vs. UFA status?
