    The title speaks volumes.

What podcasts are legit? What are you listening to right now? Feature downloadable content for the road trips etc?

I've gone through most of the Suspendables with Jim Jerome and Russ Courtnall. Joe Rogan is always good. Tim and Sid (sportsnet) also good.

    Let's have at it.

Dan Carlin, who is mostly known for his outstanding Hardcore History podcast, just brought back his political podcast Common Sense. I enjoyed his first "new" episode a lot. It's definitely not for those firmly established in their fake political trenches.

Hardcore History is a game changer. He has around 26 hours dedicated to WW1 alone.

All of his podcasts can be found here: https://www.dancarlin.com/

If someone is looking for a good laugh

"My Dad wrote a Porno" is hilarious.

They sit around an read the porno their dad wrote (they're adults) and they lose themselves trying to get through the graphic parts... because well, they're stuck with the visualizations and realizations it's their father on the keyboard and he thinks like this.

Puck Soup, Chiclets and 31 Thoughts are my go to for hockey.

Fantasy Football/Baseball Today on CBS are also great but pretty disappointed that they have changed up the baseball cast this year.

Hardcore History- Ghosts of the Ostfront and Countdown to Armageddon are fantastic. I listen to them once a year usually in the summer.
538 Politics- Excellent podcast; great analysis based on statistics and history; While it is obvious they are not fans of Trump, their reporting seems relatively unbiased.
Freakonomics- Great podcast. Abortion and Crime is one of my all-time favorites.
The Science of Success- some topics and guests are great. Hit or miss but the hits can be excellent.
Stuff you Should Know- some good topics; heavy with the commercials
Happier with Gretchen Rubin- definitely a chick podcast but I like her and she has a lot of self-help suggestions.
Joe Rogan- occasionally depending on the guest

    Sports
Steve Dangle Podcast- love these guys; they often make me laugh and they are not the suck-ups like many in the media; definitely not afraid to call people out
31 Thoughts- have to listen at 1.5 speed since Friedman's slow talking is maddening; I don't particularly like these guys but they have some good insider info and they touch on the entire NHL so I continue to listen.
The Move- Lance Armstrong and occasionally Hincapie as a guest are GREAT breaking down races. While I enjoy NBC Sports cycling coverage, Armstrong and Co are awesome and I learn more from their analysis. A must-listen during the Tour de France.
The Bill Simmons Podcast- I only listen to his podcasts on technology, pop arts, and other non-sports topics. I am not much of an NBA, NFL, or MLB fan anymore so I don't even download those. Any podcast with Klosterman in a must-listen.
Variety of Chicago Sports radio and Blackhawks podcasts
Depending on the topic- Canuck Central, Dobber Prospects, Keeping Karlsson.
    10 Team, 60 Player Roster
G, A, PTS, PPP, PIM, BLKs, Hits, +/-, Shots, W, GAA, SV%, Saves

Podcast #45 is great. Kelly Chase doing his thing for 1 hour. The stories of Howe, Hull (x2) and Hatcher are great. Worth an hour if you have it. "are you with the Blues?" "I am the F'ing Blues!" Great

I started to listening to Smartless with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes. They have A-list stars that they are friends with on for interviews/conversations. Being a huge fan of Arrested Development, I love listening to the back and forth between Bateman and Arnett. I listened to an interview with George Clooney and Clooney told a story that was laugh out loud funny. I have only listened to 2 episodes and it seems outstanding.

Great thread! I just started listening to Podcasts and have been looking for more to get into.

Obviously 31 Thoughts is on my subscribed list.

As a one off I highly recommend Your Undivided Attention's January 15 episode "Two Million Years in Two Hours: A conversation with Yuval Noah Harari". I think everyone should give it a listen. He also did two fantastic shows with Dax Shepard on Armchair Expert. I'm not a fan of Dak's interview style by Yuval is always an intriguing listen.

    Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu
Under the Influence with Terry O'Reilly (Not that Terry O'Reilly)
Move to Costa Rica Podcast - They interview expats living in Costa Rica, I hope to join them one day haha
    Revisionist History with Malcom Gladwell
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Hammer Dahn is Pat McAfee gambling podcast. And "The Pod" I think it's called is there "general talk" podcast. It's literally just like 10 friends being friends. Pretty jokes. They had like 30+ yr olds opening Pokemon cards for the first time since they were kids, couldn't help but laugh.
