Who should I keep?

MacKinnon, Rantanen, Hughes, then between Aho/Hellebuyck depending on how highly goalies are valued in your league.

Laine is a great sell high right now. I'd sell him off to someone who believes he can keep up this pace. See if you can package him with an Aho or Hellebuyck or even Shesterkin if someone is hot for rookies. Target a Matthews or Marner. Draisaitl or McDavid if you feel like really shooting for the stars and maybe get lucky with a WPG fan, but that's unlikely.

As a jets fan I would be very Leary of dealing Laine away. He is still so young and next year I feel like he could explode.

I did not like Laine much in the past, I am starting to like what I see. He is changing his game. Shows he is coachable and I feel he could go off next year too. Connor looking good too. Poor Ehlers.

I wouldn't be keeping Hughes here. I've seen too many D have a great rookie season then not put the points up again in the following years.

putting aside what you can get for who i would keep Mac Laine, Rantanen + Helly...i thin in keep 4 you keep current best players and worry about potential later. im sure many others will keep a D which means they wont draft one in first round...you will have wide range to choose from if you want...

If it's a decision between Helle and Shesty for next year I'm taking Shesty. This may be a contrary opinion but the Rangers have a quickly rising team and the Jets have a AHL defence that is not going to be easily repaired. The Jets have had an awful lot of things go right for them and they're still a bubble team. The Rangers have most of their pieces in place to be a solid playoff team next year. Plus, Shesty's numbers in every league he's ever been in state that he's a star.

we keep 4 and deciding between
Mackinnon, Laine, Rantanen, Aho, Q Hughes, Hellebuyck, Shesterkin.
Thise not kept I could deal for picks prior to draft next season.

Only a keep 4, so I have to think there will be loads of talent in the draft. That said, I also think it will be difficult to get any return on any trades prior to your draft. That's what I see in my league anyway. Folks figure, "why give up a high draft pick when they can just draft the guy; and since your trying to move them means you can't keep em".

You gotta keep the surest things you have and study for your draft. Many GMs have a bad habit of over- valuing their owned assets, so they have a tendency to redraft their former players. That means you may very likely be able to get Shesty, Aho, Laine or even Hughes in the draft! I think I would keep Mack, Helle, Rantanen and Aho. I know it's against the grain here on Laine, but in just keep 4, GMs may be leary of dropping a high pick on a guy who has yet to show his identity both in his on ice game and his mental make-up (though I do like his ability to morph his game and showing - as mentioned above - his coachability and open mindedness).
