Who should I keep?

Keeper league question here
stats are G,A, Pts, +\-, Pims, PPP, SHP, Hits goalies: wins, Gaa, Save%, Saves, shutouts
we keep 4 and deciding between
Mackinnon, Laine, Rantanen, Aho, Q Hughes, Hellebuyck, Shesterkin.
Thise not kept I could deal for picks prior to draft next season.

Just trying to determine the value of F vs D vs G, how many teams are there and how many of each position do you start?

12 team league. 4 D and two of each forward position along with 2 utility spots. Also 2 goalies.

In that case, I'm tossing Aho and Shesty back because you don't need two C's right off the batz and goalies are random (especially on bubble teams), so if I keep one it would be Helle.

Out of the last five guys, I think it comes down to cutting either Hughes or Helle. Depends on if you find you league usually hoards goalies because of the category split.
As much as I want my Dmen to hit, and you have a lot of goalie categories, I think Hughes is special with all of your offensive categories, so he would be my fourth with MacK, Rantanen, and Laine.
However, if you get a solid pick upgrade for Hughes, or your wingers, I would be okay keeping one of the others in that place.

Mack, Hughs, Helle, Laine. That is tough. I don't like goalies much as they are too unpredictable but Helle is one I personally like, if not it is tough choice between Aho and Rantanen to fill Helle spot.

If you're set on those three then I would keep Rantanen as you're more likely to be able to redraft Hughes than Rantanen.

I think k Rantanen may be better for you by a hair, but you can also get Hughes probably in your round 2-4 in the redraft, however to get Rantanen back you would likely have to use your 1st rounder.
That is unless you can get a much better return by trading Rantanen right now, then take that return and keep Hughes.

I would be happy trading Rantanen for that, drafting another Rantanen level player, and keeping Hughes.

I thought Rantanen was in that elite keeper group? Shesterkin or Hughes is a better keeper you think? Pretty sure Aho, Rantanen would both bring high picks back to me. If need to keep a goalie what would be your 4 keepers?

If Aho and Rantanen can get you high picks, move them for the picks, and keep MacK, Laine, Hughes, and Helle.

I'm not ready to keep Shestyorkin in a keep four like yours when you have much more proven and solid options.

You think Hughes can be an elite keeper like Rantanen tho? With hits included in our stats Hughes rank takes a hit for sure. I had Rantanen as a 100 point guy this year but he has been hurt.

Well, it being multicat, Rantanen might be the better play, I am pretty confident Hughes will be very high scoring D on a young and growing Vancouver squad. If you think you can redraft go that way. If you can trade some players for picks, for sure try that. Good luck.
