Was hoping to grab MacKinnon third overall and I’m not convinced on EDM making a deep run but I couldn’t pass on taking the best player in the world. He’s fully fit and motivated. Watch out!

Going to be interesting to see how this flows as there is real potential for everyone to "lay claim" to a specific team and silo off with mostly picks off that team. Curious to see who comes in and snaps off the first disruption pick.

Because pmorrow is a shareholder of Fantrax and I am a shareholder of Online Pools?

Actually, I am just a fan of Online Pools for playoff drafts for a few reasons:

1) Anyone can click on the link and see the standings - you don't have to sign up or have a log-in
2) Players entry is easier
3) It allows for a 'Team Goalies' option which is significantly easier then entering 4 goalies for each team. And is a lot cleaner then having 4 goalies for each team and trying to navigate through which goalie is getting you points.
4) It is relatively easy and clean to print to PDF to share the standings in the thread.
5) Individuals can sign up for a weekly email standings report.
6) And Selfishly, all the other playoff pools I organize are on Online Pools and its very easy for me to switch back and forth

But if majority would prefer it be on Fantrax, or if someone really wants it on Fantrax I can work with y'all on that!

Also, if you want a weekly standings update - please PM me your email address and I will get that set up!

I think it will happen fairly early. Anyone picking toward the end of round one can grab the second and third best player off any roster.
