    Default Drop Elvis for Shesterkin?

    Hey all,

I currently have Rask, Halak, and Georgiev as my goalies with Elvis sitting on my bench (IR slot is occupied). Would you drop him for Igor and roll with the 2 tandems? They should both be back pretty soon (maybe Igor slightly later, but he practiced with the team today)

    Thanks!

I would do that. It's nice to just have tandems and know you're set for their games.

how risky does it get to wait? you might scoop a start from Merzlikins on Sunday - where he's expected to return. Could you start Merz on Sun & then make the swap?

Hm tough to say, but my league is pretty on top of things so I’d say it’s somewhat risky. Also it’s a FAAB system, so no guarantees I’d get him in the first place

Since there’s no news on Boro, I may just put in a bid for Shesterkin tonight and have Boro as the drop. Apparently he has a torn tib/fib ligament, but the lack of news/progress makes me think a return isn’t imminent...Merzlikins or Shesterkin can then take over my IR+ slot temporarily until I make a goalie drop

I'd do that, as Borowiecki has to be less useful than a goalie with no PIM.
10 team Head-to-head true dynasty. Roster 33, draft 2, cut down before season. Start 1 G, 1 backup G, 6 D, 12 F arranged in 4 lines of 3. Only categories that matter are Goals, Assists, Save% with a shutout bonus. Having NHL teammates helps.

    G: Bobrovsky
    Backup G: F Andersen
D: Ekblad, Yandle, Carlson, DeAngelo, Letang, Makar
    F1: Couturier, Giroux, Voracek
    F2: Schiefele, Wheeler, MacKinnon
    F3: Stamkos, Point, JT Miller
    F4: Bertuzzi, Tavares, Seguin

    Bench:
    G:
D: Barrie, M Reilly, Heiskanen, Klingberg, Morissey, Weegar
F: Bailey, Benn, Guentzel, Johnsson, Labanc, Mikheyev, Necas
    Reserve: Datsyuk
