I still have to have faith in Bob.
Between Bobrovosky and Kuemper, who would you keep for a 3 year keeper position?
Stats are wins, SO, save% and gaa
Thx
I still have to have faith in Bob.
Keep Bob until next year and re-evaluate. I have to think he is better than he showed this year.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:
G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
D - Yandle, DeAngelo
W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
IR+ - Tarasenko
This one is tough. Kuemper is a steady average to slightly above average goalie.
Bob is due for a Vezina in the next two years and to lose his starting job after that.... I'd probably swing big and keep Bob.
12 team H-2-H 1 year league, daily roster changes, 3 goalie start minimum/week
2xC, 2xRW, 2xLW, 4xD, 3xUtil, 2xG, 5 Bench
G, A, P, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, Hits, W, SV%, GAA, SVs
C: C. Keller, C. Mittelstadt, B. Nelson, R. Strome,
LW: K. Connor, B. Tkachuk, J. Gaudreau, J. Marchessault, E. Rodrigues, A. Lafreniere
RW: K. Fiala, J. Bratt, T. Jeannot V. Arvidsson
D: R. Josi, J. Trouba, E. Gustafsson,
G: L. Thompson, F. Gustavsson, V. Vanecek
NO IR
I tend to disagree with this statement.
Bob last 2 years 109 starts, 60 wins, 2.87 GAA, .907 Save%, .468 Quality Start%
Kuemper last 2 years 82 starts, 43 wins, 2.27 GAA, .926 Save%, .695 Quality Start%
I'll take the goalie who has played Vezina caliber hockey the past two years and plays for the better defensive team over the goalie who has provided well below league average goaltending the past two years and plays for a doggy poo defensive team. Kuemper for me.
Dobber has them ranked pretty much even on his Top 100 Keeper Goalies list (Kuemper at 9, Bob at 10), for whatever that is worth.
Bobrovsky for me
I'm ready to move to Kuemper.
Any chance you can trade Bob by selling the rebound potential?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
If the guy who owns Bob in my league offered him to me straight up for Kuemper, I'd tell him to jump in a lake. Haha
With our league settings Kuemper was 4th ranked goalie last season and is 2nd this season. Bob was 11th last season and is 59th this season.
Thx guys
Yah it's a tough call
Part of me says the Bob for past hype/expectations/stats but Kuemper has been very solid and better for a year plus now and plays on a better defensive team.
Ugh
I would try and trade Bob for an up and coming Goalie.
The guy I would target - Hogberg. You probably get a lot more with him than just a 1-1 - draft picks/prospects etc.
If you have a minors system - you can bury him, keep Kuemper and reap the rewards of a Goalie no one gives a crap about today, but who's floating with a .920 svpct over the past two months on a Sens team depleted of any established talent

Stick with Bob. Huge contract and Quenneville is just getting started. Ownership worries me there but Bob is so much better than this. You’d be selling low.
Don't sell low on Bob. He is a better goalie than Kuemper... their team's systems are dictating their rate stats. A couple of team changes on either side will make a huge difference, plus as mentioned earlier, something is wrong (possibly anxiety to meet expectation, maybe just new digs and system to gel into, nagging injury) - but this season is an anomaly. At least I think so.
10 Team H2H Points (Keep 1C, 2W, 2D, 1G, & 1 non-goalie):
G,A,+/-, PIM, PPG, SHG, GWG, OTG, FOWs, Hits, Blks, Maj, Mis, (bonus scoring for D-men makes them comparable to Wing)
Wins, Saves, GA, Shutouts

C: Zibanejad, Thomas, Tavares
W: Stutzle, Robertson, Connor, Buchnevich, McCann
D: Makar, McAvoy, Josi, Theodore, Matheson, Harley
G: Georgiev, Binnington, Kochetkov, Andersen (IR)
