Saros has been terrible. Lehner is a backup. Are there really no other choices?
Playoffs start tomorrow, have Binnington, Bobrovsky and Saros.
Lehner was just dropped, should I pick him up and drop Saros?
W, SV, GA, SV% and SHO are the categories, can only have 3 on the roster

In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:
G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
D - Yandle, DeAngelo
W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
IR+ - Tarasenko
Saros has actually been excellent lately. He's started 10 of the Preds last 13 games (and coming in relief in one of them). Since Feb. 4, Saros is 7-3 with a 2.33 GAA and a .930 SV %.
I'd keep Saros.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.
League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.
We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.
Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid
I'd keep Saros for now but monitor Lehner... I was surprised he got the start after MAF's shutout... so I'm curious if they'll go with 1 start each until playoff (MAF will start the playoff barring injury).

I wouldn't say excellent. His GAA is 2.75 and his SV% is 9.21. Looking deeper in his last 10:
4 GAA - 1 time
3 GAA - 5 times (1 time was in relief where he gave up 2 goals in 40 mins).
2 GAA - 3 times
1 GAA - 0 times
1 shutout
The shutout has a huge effect on his numbers. Given that he has been in 35 games and only has 2 shutouts, the influence it has on 10 games is bigger than it should be. We need to look at 17.5 games for the shutout to have the right effect. In addition, 6/10 games have been bad (>= 3 GAA). Since the average GAA in the nhl is 2.89 (best that I could find), he is worse than that in the majority of his games. The big Saros problem right now is that he is giving up too many goals. If 1 or 2 of the three GAA games were 1 GAA, then I would have a different opinion. This has been his problem all season long.
I am not sure I want either Lehner or Saros. I go back to my question, is there no one else available on the WW/FA list?

Right now, I'd say Saros. I dont see Lehner getting much more than every other game right now at best, where as Saros seems to have taken the crease in Nashville.

FWIW Lehner is starting tomorrow. I do think they'll go 50/50 all the way as they are gearing up for playoff. Saros is the starter in NAS so if you need starts over quality start, you should take Saros.
