    Default Which trade option for playoff push? (will rep)

    Following up on a separate thread as I’ve got two finalized trade options to consider now. Green is also now injured so getting help at D has become more important for me. For the team in my signature I'm in first and taking a run at repeating.

    Option 1 - My Boeser + Cirelli for his Wheeler (C, RW) + Weber
    Option 2 - My Boeser + Hronek + 2020 4th round pick for his Paccioretty + Burns

    I don't have room to keep Boeser after this year and since he's out through my playoffs, he won't help this season.
    12 Team Weekly H2H, Daily Lineups. Keep 7 + 1 Prospect (<164 NHL games).

    I would take option number two.

    I am always about adding the best assets and trying to win... even if it costs me a draft pick like the 4th round

    The second option is the better option if you're trying to win. If you're shooting for the top, bring the hammer down on your opponents instead of trying to do just enough to perhaps eke out a win.

    I looks like it's unanimous, Max Pax and Burns. The price is reasonable to if it pushes you over the top.

    Thanks all. Final deal was my Boeser, Hronek and 2020 3rd round for his Pacioretty, Burns and 2020 9th round pick. I’ve also got another deal to move Mantha for Wheeler to help my weak centers. Mantha is another one that I don’t have room to keep so I figured better make use of him before losing him to free agency next year. I rep’ed everyone that I could.
