Pasta/Kreider vs Rantanen/Guentzel

Current keepers are Mack, Guentzel, M. Tkachuk, Rantanen, Vas

I'm in third and unlikely to make a serious push for 1st. Part of the difficulty is Guentzel and Rant being out. Thinking of offering Guentzel and Rantanen for Pasta. Team with Pasta is in last place.

Is keeping Pasta and Kreider and upgrade on Guentzel and Rantanen? Besides Kreider, I could keep Lee or Larkin as a 5th option.

The competing this year is a side benefit for sure. Already keeping Mack, I'm kinda loathe to keep another C despite preferring Larkin to Kreider in a vacuum. Definitely worth considering though, especially if they land Lafreniere.

Pasta BPA and Kreider is a reasonable play in that format. You lose out on Guentzel but the deal is still worht it. If ity allows you to make a stab at first- that increases the incentive to do it by quite a bit imho. Not sure its enough for other manager to bite. Unless you can get him to "sell high" on Kreiderman

It’s a max GP league, and I’m ~5 ahead at every position. I’m weak in ppp, and 7-11 in most everything else. First in wins.

My first offer, which seems to be being considered, is Rantanen, Kreider, Elvis for Pasta and spare parts. It’s a clear one year upgrade and keeper upgrade for me.

Other managers keepers are currently:
Pasta, Stammer, Holtby, Krug, Boeser/Kadri. Figure Kreider might be an upgrade on Boeser and Kadri, and Elvis might be an upgrade on Holtby.

Oh, I thought you were offering Rantanen and Guentzel for Pasta and Kreider. I was confused. If so, Rantanen + Kreider + Elvis is a great deal for Pasta. Keeps you competing at a high level and upgrades Rantanen.

Losing both Rantanen + Guentzel was a more difficult pill to swallow.
