Default Erik Karlsson still keeper worthy?

What are your thoughts on Erik Karlsson?

will he ever achieve fantasy stud status again (assuming healthy next year) or is he just a ''good but not great'' keeper worthy player?

    H2H league where you count

    G A P +/- PIM PPP SOG HIT BLK

This year he is on a 0.71 PPG pace (58 pts if he played all 82 games).

Whats your take on him? Keep him and hope for a rebound season or sell him although his value is pretty low right now?

Yes. He's a keeper. With how bad San Jose was this year, he was still basically a 60 point pace. That's probably his floor, with his point per game stud status as the upside. I could see him finishing in the 65-70 point range next season.

He was on pace for another elite scoring season, not his prior level of greatness, but still great.

He's above being just a good keeper in many formats.

Talk yourself off the ledge. He’s a superstar and at half capacity plays like many current star D. He’s a keeper.

If I wasn't in a salary cap league where Karlsson costs $14M, I'd be buying him. He's got years left of superstar production left and he's being valued quite low due to his previous generational-level production.

Not only keeper worthy but still a top 5 fantasy defenseman.

As always the details matter: How Many Keepers and what are the other options?

Karlsson still has many good to great seasons left in him, only his +/- is of any real concern. In a keep 5 or more he's most likely a keeper.

In a CAP league EK's value takes a hit. In any other format, he is a must own.

Seems like everyone is on board with Karlsson generally being an elite own.
have an opportunity to pick him up but would need to give up Barzal and S Theodore. I'm a bit light on FWD keepers (ovi, kuzn, others are a step below - voracek/benn/radulov/drouin/eKane) and maybe ok at def (hamilton, yandle, buf, hughes). looking to improve my core keepers. categories are G/A/+-/PIM. Thanks

I would make that move. Forwards are a lot easier to find.
