Is Rust finished
It's been a great season with him so far, but he's cooled considerably, especially since Crosby's return. He had a 3pt game against toronto, and an assist vs washington, but otherwise he's been quiet since the end of January. Is he going to return to form, or should I let go?

I prefer Rust to those 3 at the moment. Athanasiou could be one to watch considering he's likely getting a shot with McDavid.
Rust I'll just note will come and go a bit as Malkin goes. Malkin had a 4 game stretch with 1 point. Rust is still on pp1 and with Malkin at 5 on 5 so the conditions are there for production.

Yeah. Rust has been such an MVP pickup for me, it's really hard to see him slow.

I still prefer Rust over the names you mentioned. If Rust loses PP #1 or his spot on Malkin's wing, I would then consider swapping him out, but until then I would ride him.

Rust does this every year, he has a hot spell and then dies off, this season was just extended because of the man games lost to injury in PITT. This is not a gamebreaker player in the slightest, this is a player who needs premier deployment and far more talented linemates to do what he was doing. Welcome back to the norm.

Yeah I currently own Rust and Toffoli and I would drop Rust before I would drop Toffoli. Both are on PP1 and pretty good 5 on 5 lines...but i feel like Toffoli may carry a bit more value going forward.

If you're watching the games you're not dropping Rust. Guy is playing really well and Pittsburgh has one of the best fantasy schedules out there! I would drop Olofsson or Meier before Rust. Never drop a player on a good team in March.

Personally Kubalik, Athanasiou and Toffoli are guys I'd prefer over Rust. Kubalik on pace for over 30 goals as a rookie, Athanasiou playing top 6 in Edmonton and one season removed from 30 goals and over 50 points and Toffoli in my opinion is just better than Rust. I'd drop him but that's me.

I love Rust and don't think he's going to fall off a cliff, just not keep his pt/gm pace up.

A) I wouldn't be overly worried about Rust. Unlike previous years, there is a long-term PP1 injury (Guentzel), which will keep Rust in that prime position.
B) Are Kubalik, Toffoli, or AA better options than Rust? I would feel comfortable with Kubalik the most from that list. I think that I would go with Kubalik > Rust/Toffoli (who has the better playoff schedule for you?) > AA.
